Only working 2 days next week! Faaaaaabuloooooous!
So THUNDERCATS ARE GO for shooting on June 5th! I’ve already got somebody lined up for that day, but the more, the merrier! I’d like to meet at the back-lot area of California Adventure again. If you haven’t given me your number, shoot it to me in an email at iamtheconor(at)gmail(period)com so I can get in touch with you on the day of. I have class that morning, but I’m going to go to DCA right after (which means I’ll be on my way by 9:30AM) so I should be there by 11:30AM, noon at the latest. Like I said, if I have numbers, I can text people to let them know my whereabouts. :) Also, I’m still working out the kinks with regards to the best shooting locations, so bear with me when our shoot-date arrives. Got the first pair of interviews done last week! Big thanks to Meg and Maria for making it out. The next shoot date is tentatively scheduled for JUNE 5TH. I’m going to try to confirm this as soon as I can, so check back here frequently. Non-in-person and out-of-Disney interviewees, bear with me. We’ll get to you guys soon. :)

BTW, I didn’t make it out to the T-Party soft open last weekend…yeah…*shrug*
Although Welles is mostly commended for his brilliant directing job in this masterpiece, his performance also ranks among one of the greatest of all-time. At the age of 25, Orson Welles manages to believably portray a man who ages from 25 to 70 throughout the course of the film. He masters the part physically, portraying gradually increasing fatigue to the point that when he tears apart his wife’s room at the end, it comes as no easy task. He matches the physicality with great emotional depth as we see his ego begin to control him.

Damn, this take me back to ‘02 and ‘03 - for fucking real. I remember going to shows to see a DJ, and, you know, they’d actually DJ. I’ve written at length about this, but the dubstep and DnB guys were totally responsible for killing DJ’ing. (Mostly the dubstep guys.)
I’ll still respect a guy getting out there with Rane/Serato Scratch and control vinyls though. DJ AM did it, and he was a fucking boss.
